The Oakland County Convention will convene in person at 9 a.m. on August 15 (time to be confirmed).  This Convention will be held in advance of the MDP statewide nominating convention to be held on August 29 in Lansing. 

The purpose of this Convention shall be to elect people to serve on three committees for the state convention: credentials committee, rules committee and resolutions committee, as well as to consider resolutions to be forwarded to the state party. 

You must have been a member of the MDP by 30 days prior to August 15 in order to vote at the county convention. Note that if you are a precinct delegate or elected official, you can join the MDP at the county convention.
