The Oakland County Convention will convene in person at 9 a.m. on March 28.  This Convention will be held in advance of the MDP statewide endorsement convention to be held on April 19. 

The purpose of this Convention shall be to elect people to serve on three committees for the state convention: credentials committee, rules committee and resolutions committee, as well as to consider resolutions to be forwarded to the state party. 

You must have been a member of the MDP by Thursday, February 26, 2026, in order to vote at the county convention. Note that if you are a precinct delegate or elected official, you can join the MDP at the county convention.
